Welcome to Niceville, Florida. The Niceville area includes Valparaiso, Rocky Bayou, Bluewater Bay, Seminole, Villa Tasso and Choctaw Beach communities. Niceville is offers a great option for families needing to near to be close to Eglin Air Force Base or Northwest Florida State College. The Mid Bay Bridge provides easy access to Destin and Fort Walton Beach, giving residents the best of small town and beach life. There are many different neighborhoods found in Niceville, with the most notable and prestigious being Swift Creek, Rocky Bayou, and Blue Water Bay. There are bike paths and paved roads for running, walking, or cycling throughout the resort and the underground utilities preserve the natural aesthetic of the property, as well as extra security in the event of a storm.
Recently named as one of the ten best places to raise kids, Niceville and it’s prestigious neighborhoods feed a number of A+ rated schools, including Plew, Edge and Bluewater Bay Elementary Other parents chose a private education for their children, opting to attend Rocky Bayou Christian School. Niceville High School and the Collegiate High School at Northwest Florida State College are continuously at the top of the list of the state’s highest performing schools.
